Severina Nicholl-DeSpenza

Severina Nicholl-DeSpenza is a Coach & Facilitator at First Day Learning. She has acquired extensive training in Infant/Toddler, Pre-K and K-12 teacher-child interactions, infant mental health, and early, adolescent and adult literacy. She holds a B.S in Psychology, M.A.T in Education, and a M.A. in Educational Leadership. Throughout a career focused on developing and enhancing the educational literacy of the teachers and students in the southeastern region, Severina and has worked as an educator in the Atlanta and New Orleans metropolitan areas for 20+ years. During her tenure she held numerous positions requiring strong leadership, planning, organizational, and administrative skills, such as: Special Education Coordinator, Reading/Learning Specialist, Early/Elementary Adjunct Professor, Head Start and Early Head Start Education Specialist (Pre-School/Infant Toddler) and Diversity Coordinator.
