Melanie Garcia

Melanie is an elementary math and science teacher in Chicago Public Schools. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and English as a Second Language endorsement in 2018. She is currently working towards a Master's Degree in Special Education, and serves on the Instructional Leadership Team at her school. She has a passion for teaching students self advocacy through social emotional learning.
